The Answer to Your Question

You asked me who is it that I'm interested in. I will not give you a straight answer. I don't need to. You are far too smart not to notice. And I am far too into you to be able to to hide the feelings. I have fallen for your name, your intellect, your charm, and your outlook on life. I enjoy our discussion and your presence. So much that I don't even care if you could ever feel the same. It doesn't matter. I just want to feel that you are near. That I can talk to you and see your smile every once in a while, even though you are far.

From the very first time I fell for you, I know that you are out of my reach. And that is okay. I'm happy just to know that I can have these feelings I feel for you. You make me feel more alive than I have ever been in my entire life, even without realising that you are doing it. You make me feel human, and most of all, you make me feel. For that, I would forever be grateful to you.

Oh, what would I not give to be able to hold you in my arms, even for a little while. But I know that I have no rights to ask for anything from you. You have given me so much just by being you. After all, I am your nobody.

I just want you to know that I am here for you. I might never ask you these questions directly. My pride is way too high to allow me. Would you allow me to keep these feelings for you, regardless of the condition? Would you allow me to be near you, even if it means as your nobody? Would you allow me to contact you every once in a while, just to know that you are still here? Would you mind chatting with me every now and then, just so that I can see your smile?

You never let me down before 

People will always change no matter what. In fact, the only thing that's constant in this life is change. People only stop changing once their dead. Even then a process of change is still occurring. Saying people should not change is essentially telling them to stop living and having a new experience.

Also, what on earth makes you think that I am changing merely for the sake of pleasing you? Is it so hard for you to believe that I also have the need to change, to improve, and to constantly be better? Not for other people, only for myself.

Don't imagine you're too familiar
And I don't see you anymore 

This is just a projection of your insecurities. Your fear of being left behind by because I have evolved beyond the capacity of the relationship allowed.

 Every relationship means that all party involved needs to compromise to a point. But relationship also means constantly improving each other's qualities, and supporting each other's flaws. This is not about taking each other just the way each other's is, this is about making each other the best version of themselves.

Don't go trying some new fashion
Don't change the color of your hair

So what if I want to try new fashion? What if I want to change the color of my hair? This is my body, and I hold the autonomy for it. No one has the right to tell me otherwise. 

You always have my unspoken passion
Although I might not seem to care

 Mere justification for ignorance. If you feel a passion for me, don't leave it unspoken. You need to constantly show it, and I will do the same. Romance is reciprocal and needs to be nurtured every single day. It will die once it's ignored.

I don't want clever conversation
I never want to work that hard
I just want someone that I can talk to
I want you just the way you are.

Yes, I want someone to talk to. But when I talk to someone special, I do want clever conversation. I want to challenge and be challenged. I need to constantly develop myself, and I expect my someone special to do the same thing.

I need to know that you will always be
The same old someone that I knew

 How can I ever believe in someone who never even show me that he cares? How dare he says he believes in me when in fact he does not allow me to improve and be a better version of me?

  It's easy to make promise, but forever is a long time. So don't promise, just make everyday count.
